Can I Offer a Free Gift Instead of Just Free Shipping?

Yes! While the Free Shipping Bar app doesn’t create a discount or add a free gift to the cart automatically, you can use the secondary goal feature to promote a free gift or product reward once a customer spends past a higher threshold.

How it works

1. Set your primary goal (e.g. $50 for free shipping).
2. Click Add Secondary Goal and enter a higher amount (e.g. $100) — this is the threshold for the free gift.
3. Customize the message shown at each stage:

• Initial – “Free shipping for orders over $50”
• Progress (primary) – “Only $25 away from free shipping”
• Progress (secondary) – “You got free shipping! Only $50 away from a free gift”
• Goal achieved – “Congratulations! You’ve got free shipping and a free gift”
